Impressions took off at 53 sites, and 11 of them held their ground
Rising and holding came out as separate results. Measuring the impression curves of 53 sites, 49 had a rise score of 45 or more, and 11 kept a hold score of 45 or more through the end of the reporting period.
This is Korean search data, taken from the Naver Search Advisor impression charts of 53 Korean local-service sites. Once impressions climb off zero, the job can look finished, and the shape of the chart after that first climb rarely gets a second look.
We measured the shape of each chart: how far impressions rose, and how much of that rise was still there at the end of the reporting period, each scored from 0 to 100.
Finding 01
The median rise score was 60; the median hold score at the end was 26
- Both 45+
- Other
Each dot is one site. Only the industry group is shown, not the site's name.
49 sites scored 45 or more on rise, and 11 sites scored 45 or more on hold at the end. The score for the moment impressions arrive and the score for what follows came out differently.
Number of sites in each grade.

Median hold by industry group ranged from 49 down to 11
Each bar is the group's median hold score at the end of the reporting period (0–100).
Diet & body care and Legal services rose by similar amounts, 60 and 62, but their hold scores split: 49 and 26.

So what belongs in a search performance report?
- Next to the date impressions started, record the rise and the hold at the end as separate numbers, taken from the same capture.
- Report the sites that rose separately from the sites that are holding.
- For sites with a low hold score, plan separately what to add after the rise.
Methodology
- Rise is how far the peak climbed relative to the first third of the reporting period; hold is the share of that rise still present at the end of the period. Both are 0–100 scores measured in pixels from the Search Advisor chart, not impression counts.
- Sites with both scores at 45 or more are graded firm, sites with at least one score at 30 or more moderate, and the rest weak.
- The 60-day reporting period spans the July rise and the August plateau, so most curves end below their peak.
- The reporting period is the last 60 days and the capture date is 2026-08-16. All 53 sites share the same reporting period.
